Nvidia launches open models for enterprise agents and local PC assistants
The new lineup gives companies and PC users more choice in where agent workloads run, with some models available now and one arriving later this month.
Nvidia has released new open-weight AI models aimed at two growing deployment paths: enterprise agents running in customer data centers and lighter assistants running locally on PCs and workstations. The flagship Nemotron 3.5 Super VL is a 120-billion-parameter model for enterprise use, and Nvidia says it can match the accuracy of its larger Nemotron 3 Ultra on instruction-following and tool-use tasks while being faster on several post-trained agent workloads. Nvidia also introduced two Bolt models for local use on AI PCs and DGX Spark workstations: Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B 24GB for multistep agent tasks and Bolt E4B for conversational agents. Super VL and Bolt 74B-A9B are available now, while Bolt E4B arrives later this month, and Nvidia is positioning the local models as a way to keep data on-device instead of sending it to the cloud.
Why it matters
For enterprises, the new models add a smaller option that Nvidia says can deliver the same instruction-following and tool-use results as a larger one, which could make agent deployment easier to fit into existing systems. For PC and workstation users, the local Bolt models shift some assistant workloads onto the device instead of the cloud, changing where data stays and how those assistants are used.
