Anthropic offers Claude Code cloud credits to Pro and Max subscribers
Eligible Pro and Max users get time-limited Claude Code cloud credits for running sessions on Anthropic’s infrastructure.
Anthropic has opened Claude Code cloud sessions to eligible subscribers, ending the research-preview restriction and letting coding tasks run on Anthropic’s infrastructure while a developer’s own computer is offline. Pro subscribers receive $100 in promotional cloud credits, while Max subscribers get $250. The offer can be claimed through Claude’s website by October 7, and any unused balance expires on November 4. Eligibility is limited to individual Pro and Max subscribers whose subscriptions were active when the promotion began on September 23. After the credit is used up, cloud sessions count against the subscriber’s usual plan limits.
Why it matters
Opening Claude Code cloud sessions beyond the research preview means more paying users can offload coding work to Anthropic’s infrastructure instead of relying on their own machines. For eligible Pro and Max subscribers, the temporary pool of credits lets them explore or expand use of these hosted sessions at no extra cost until the credits expire, after which usage falls back under normal plan limits.
