OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 in ChatGPT with a new visual interface
The update adds interactive visuals to ChatGPT replies and starts reaching paid users now, with Free and Go access following the next day.
OpenAI has started rolling out GPT-6 in ChatGPT with a new “Intelligent UI” system that blends text with interactive visuals, which could change how developers and businesses think about conversational apps. Instead of only returning plain answers, the model can produce tappable controls, charts, forms, maps, diagrams, calculators, and other in-chat tools tailored to the question. OpenAI says the aim is to make everyday answers easier to follow and complex topics easier to learn, while also letting users ask for task-specific tools on the fly. The rollout begins for Pro, Plus, Business, and Enterprise users globally, with Free and Go users getting access the next day.
Why it matters
For people using ChatGPT, answers are no longer limited to plain text. The change means the chat can surface controls, charts, forms and other interactive pieces when that format fits the request, which makes some responses easier to act on and easier to understand. It also broadens the kinds of tasks users can ask ChatGPT to build inside the conversation itself.
