Google adds three study tools to Gemini Notebook
The new options give students faster ways to review material and a wider range of quiz formats.
Google added three study features to Gemini Notebook to help people turn coursework into more structured review materials. The new options are 60-second Short Video Overviews for quickly understanding a difficult concept, Interactive Learning Overviews that organize notes, lectures, and readings into step-by-step reports with slides, quizzes, and flashcards, and expanded quiz formats. The quiz update adds short-answer, multi-select, and fill-in-the-blank questions. Google says users can also ask the notebook for feedback after testing themselves or reviewing flashcards to see what to focus on next.
Why it matters
The update shifts Gemini Notebook from a note store into a more guided study tool. Students can move from reading material to checking understanding in the same place, with video overviews, step-by-step reports and more quiz types helping them identify what to review next.
